Sydney Clignett Certified Massage Therapist

Book with Sydney

Sydney is a massage therapist specializing in deep tissue work, chronic pain relief, and prenatal massage. Her work is rooted in the belief that healing happens through presence—that the body’s language, when listened to closely, reveals where release and realignment are waiting.

With a background in medical massage, somatic therapy, and a passion for the body’s subtle intelligence, Sydney integrates technical precision with intuitive touch. Her approach offers both structure and softness, inviting the nervous system to settle and the body to spiral back toward center. Each session is a quiet immersion in care—organic, intentional, and deeply restorative.

  • Massage therapy offers relaxation, stress relief, pain reduction, improved circulation, and enhanced overall well-being.

  • Massage frequency varies, but typically, once a month for relaxation and maintenance, or as needed for specific issues. Ultimately, it's best to consult with a qualified massage therapist who can assess your unique circumstances and recommend an appropriate schedule based on your health and wellness goals. Listen to your body and adjust the frequency accordingly based on your specific goals.

  • Absolutely! Massage therapy is an amazing compliment to other health care treatments and is a great way to unwind and meet your self-care needs!

  • Lymphatic drainage is a gentle massage technique that helps move excess fluid, reduce swelling, and support the body’s natural healing and immune processes. It is commonly used for wellness, inflammation, and recovery.

After surgery, lymphatic drainage can be especially beneficial for reducing post-operative swelling, easing discomfort, and supporting more efficient healing by helping the body clear fluid buildup and inflammation.

  • The timing for lymphatic drainage after surgery depends on the type of procedure and your surgeon’s recommendations. In many cases, gentle lymphatic drainage can begin within the first few days after surgery once you are medically cleared.

Early sessions are very light and focused on reducing swelling and supporting circulation. Your therapist will adjust the technique as your healing progresses to ensure treatment is safe, appropriate, and supportive of optimal recovery.

  • Yes, prenatal massage is generally safe during a healthy pregnancy when performed by a therapist trained in prenatal care. It can help relieve common pregnancy discomforts such as back pain, hip tension, swelling, and stress.

Most people can begin prenatal massage after the first trimester, or around 12 weeks, unless otherwise advised by their healthcare provider. Treatments are always adapted to your stage of pregnancy, comfort, and any specific medical considerations.
